Before the worst of times, we have the best intentions. Peter’s failure did not catch Jesus off guard. He was not surprised. God not only knows where we are going to mess up but he is already preparing us for what comes next.

Sometimes we go through something hard, and we want to shake our fist at someone. We need someone to blame because we are hurting. The argument usually goes, "If bad things happen then clearly it was God’s fault, so there must not be a loving God."

But truely: God is love!

The Light of the world came. GOD, who created us all came in the person of his Son, and the world still did not recognize him.

Are you living in freedom, abusing your freedom, or using your freedom to serve others?

Now that I have recognized my need for Jesus, and received his gift of forgiveness for my sins, how do I behave in my world— in my culture?

Are you walking in a dead faith, or are you walking in a living faith?

What do you believe about who you are? What God says matters more than you think it does.

We may know that Jesus died to save us from our sin, but how do we live for him while we are still battling our sin nature? The Apostle Paul tackles this problem in the 7th chapter of Romans.

Are you asking God about what is next or just trusting your own logic?

God solved the problem of our depravity. He made a way for us. Do we understand the dire circumstances of our society?
