The most powerful part of the Easter story isn’t that Jesus paid such a horrible price for our sin. The truly amazing part is that God raised him from the dead!

If we truly want to walk with God it is going to mean a few things from us.

Today we continue to look at the passion of the Christ, recognizing that it wasn’t all the cross and the beating he took. It wasn’t just his death that defines his passion; it was you.

What does it take for you to give up on something? What does it take for you to go all in?

Jesus left us parables as warnings, as teachings, and as reminders.

One third of the written accounts of Jesus’ 33 years of life, were dedicated to one week of his existence. Just seven days.

In our lives we will have pain. We were designed to have pain. What are you going to do with it?

Where else could she go? What else could she do? Her daughter was on the edge of helplessness, on the edge of hopelessness, severely oppressed. She knew only Jesus could help.

Too often we are trying to navigate this world pain-free. We are trying to outwit pain. We are determined to escape it at every turn.

We’re talking about pain that you didn’t cause - pain you experience and encounter because of someone else.
