When you have something as precious as gold, you know exactly how much you have and where it is. And yet, the gold of Christmas is found in a lowly manger.

What is the gold you are seeking? Peace? Family? A spouse? Forgiveness?

Gold, everyone wants it. Not everyone can afford it. So we settle for something fake.

Are you leaving behind a legacy or are you leaving your legacy behind?

God cares for you. The reason that God will take our anxieties upon Himself, the reason our cares can be cast on Him is because God cares for you.

It isn’t whether we can afford to be generous, it’s whether or not we are holding on to something God gave us for the sole purpose of extending his kingdom.

Sometimes we are in our own way. We need to humble ourselves, give up trying to be the fixer, and trust Jesus.

Identities are special things. Your name is what separates you from others. Your name conveys value. It protects your free will.
