Vintage Energy (ASX: VEN) managing director Neil Gibbins joins Small Caps to discuss the company’s strategy to provide a new gas source for the energy hungry east coast markets.

The company commenced initial production from the Vali field in the Cooper Basin central Australia earlier this year. It is now firmly on target to add a second revenue stream with its nearby Odin natural gas field.

Vintage’s on target strategy and marketing success has been recognised by the market with the recent confirmation of a $5.6 million capital raising.

The funds will assist in increasing Vali production from one to three wells while the company prepares to bring Odin on stream.
