Every building has a history, it just happens that the Barclay Hotel in downtown Los Angeles, California has a darker one then most. From when it opened as the Van Nuys Hotel in 1897 to the current still standing building there have been numerous deaths, murders, and murder adjacent stories. When Malcom "Mac" Graham III and his wife Eleanor "Muff" LaVerne Graham sailed their ketch the Sea Wind to Palmyra in 1974 they had no idea it was going to be their final trip. They had the misfortune of meeting Duane Buck Walker and his girlfriend Stephanie Sterns and that was the beginning of the end for the happily married couple.
