Napa Valley occupies a small but unique area. Despite its small surface (only 48km long and 8km wide), the Napa Valley is home to a great variety of fine wines thanks to the diverse microclimates and soils. It is particularly revered for its Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay.

As one of the world’s premier wine regions boasting more than 400 wineries, many may find it difficult to pick real good bottles of wine from this region. For this reason, Michael Anderson, Head of Auctions at Langton's is here to help you navigate through the huge variety and choose the next wines to try and lay down in your Vintec cabinet.

Burgundy is the crème de la crème when it comes to wine collecting. But with skyrocketing prices, it is difficult to navigate this surprisingly small region (representing only 3% of the vines planted in France) and find good wines without breaking the bank. To help us, we had the pleasure of welcoming Alex Rougeot, Founder & Director of Clos Cachet, a French wine import company, and also 5th generation of the Rougeot family, based in Meursault. Alex visited the Vintec studio to share with you his top recommendations of Burgundy wines to collect and carefully cellar in your Vintec wine cabinet. Among his recommendations, he's shedding some light on a new generation of winemakers that are pushing boundaries and producing gems that are still off the radar for most collectors.
