Vinyl Rhetoric

For your listening pleasure, the Blob has picked out the 1976 release by ZZ Top, Tejas. Hope you get as much pleasure from this as he did.

This is the debut album of an awesome band, Van Halen. Buying and playing this album was an awesome experience. Hope you all enjoy.

This episode features one of Blob's favorites, Soundgarden. He chose this album for the driving sounds of the grunge era that was popular in the 90's. Happy listening. **(VR-This episode involves lots of rhetoric. This was our fifth podcast and it took this podcast for us to realize just how much we talked. Although, we don't mind how much we talk, we wanted to give you a heads up)

Kingcow picked this 1981 release by Joan Jett, Bad Reputation. Straightforward, gritty Rock and Roll. Enjoy!

The Blob picked the 1968 release of The Progressive Blues Experiment by the late blues-man Johnny Winter for his, and with any luck, your enjoyment.

This is Kingcow's first selection, David Bowie's Young Americans album, side 1. We discuss the music and give our opinions on what we liked and what we didn't. VR**(This is our first published podcast. All future podcasts include two mikes)

As we move into the harvest season we take a look at and a listen to the dark and chaotic album from Blue October. This release is the fourth from this band and it explores some themes bordering on psychotic. For illustration purposes one cut was used in the movie Saw. The music and lyrics are haunting. Hope you enjoy this. Listen up my pretties, you're in for a treat.
