Virtual Assistant Bootcamp - Work from Home Podcast

What is it that you can’t buy more of in this world even if you’re the wealthiest?

TIME

Time is really important.

This is why most people try to make things done by now — by all means.

And not to wait for tomorrow as tomorrow may bring another task to be completed.

Right?

And the same goes for us freelancers.

We’d want to maximize our time (and energy) especially if we’re working with different clients.

Not to mention that we also have our tasks at home.

So we try to use tools to run our freelancing business easier.

And that’s what we’ll talk about in our FLIP Chat & Chill on June 7 at 6PM.

Are you a "Yes" person - Monday Motivation - 06/07/21

You probably know this.

Millions of Filipinos lost their jobs during this pandemic.

That includes Mark.

Nawalan siya ng trabaho dahil sa COVID.

This ignited his desire to work online as a freelancer.

And he needed to make this work.

Why?

Because he only has P4,000 in his wallet.

Know what he did?

"I enrolled in the VA Bootcamp Skills package last December 15, 2020, for 3900+. I remember the date and cost because it was the only money I have at that time."

It pushed him to ’try harder’ kasi sayang yung 4k niya.

"Might as well isagad ko na yung effort ko."

After submitting 30 cover letters, he got less than 5 answers.

Out of those 5, he was scheduled for an interview 3x.

Then one of these prospects gave him a job offer.

Boom!

He now works as a VA for a small business specializing in real estate.

Curious to know how he landed his first online job?

Does he use any tactics or magic?

We still are feeling the impact of this pandemic.

When will this end?

No one knows.

And I hope all is well with you.

Having said that, a lot of people navigated a freelance career during this crisis.

Though some freelancers lost their clients, while others have experienced a decline in working hours.

Hence, a drop in income.

So this gets us into thinking ...

Can Your Freelancing Career Survive Another Pandemic?

Today’s Commentment: "I will improve 1% today by _______" [insert action in the blanks]

"I am begging people to hire me."

This is what Cyrille shared with us.

She’s only 21 years old.

But as the breadwinner, she really needed to work hard and earn to survive.

Even if it means magmakaawa siya to get a job.

Not until she discovered freelancing.

Which allowed her to work at her own time and pace.

Getting closer every day to reach her goal to be financially free.

And earn 10x more than what she usually earns when she’s in the corporate world.

Curious to know how she did it?

How she handled all the rejections she received?

How she’s able to get clients after clients?

Now, more than ever, working from home or doing online jobs is beginning to be a top option for Filipinos.

Who wouldn’t love to work at the convenience of your own home, or any place on the planet?

To be your own boss... to wear whatever you want... to develop a talent or skill you never knew you had in you...

Best of all, NO TRAFFIC!

And aside from the common question of "how to start?," another interesting topic to talk about is "how do I get paid?"

Of course, you’d want to get our hard-earned money.

And it shouldn’t become too much of a hassle.

But with all the options available right now it can be overwhelming.

Right?

No worries, we got your back.

Do You Have Confidence? - Monday Motivation - 5/24/21

I know we’re done celebrating Mother’s Day.

But on our next JasSuccess, we’ll feature another freelancing mama.

Her name is Kimberly.

She’d been in the corporate world for 10 years before she decided to become a freelancer.

What motivated her?

"Since I’m homeschooling my kids I need to stay at home."

Well, I believe she did the right thing.

Here’s what she said.

"It’s very fulfilling because I got to enjoy the time for my family while earning. I’m able to pursue the things that are aligned to my vision in life."

So what are the factors she considered before going into full-time freelancing?

What are the challenges of a freelancing mama and how did she deal with them?

Time and again, I’ve seen a lot of non-experts succeed in freelancing.

There are undergraduates who are now making more than corporate managers.

There are those who can’t speak straight English and yet they’re working with clients across the globe.

Just goes to say.

Freelancing will work even if you’re not an expert.

The question is.

Are you willing to do what it takes to make it work?

We’ll talk more about this in our FLIP Chat & Chill this Monday, May 17 at 6pm.

Specifically, we’ll share "Can I Succeed In Online Freelancing Even If I’m Not An Expert?"
