When Liam Robertson of "Did You Know Gaming?" tweeted out that the lead designer of anticipated Harry Potter-verse game Hogwarts Legacy was in fact "a far right YouTuber who used to make anti-fem and pro GG vids" the response from the games journalism industry (and social media in general) was as swift as it was predictable.

But that fact in itself is worthy of discussion.
