EP239 New Show Announced
Hook: I totally let you down. And I let myself down. But I’m back and ready to rock. I’ll explain everything in this episode.

What is Happening: We are completely revamping, rebranding, and restructuring our Show. And I am SO excited.
What To Expect: Short. Binge Worthy Tactical & Implementable Strategies for your summits.
3 Episodes a week. Two 10-Minute Tactical Sessions of yours truly picking a summit problem, challenge or strategy and bringing that information to you in a concise and easy to consume format. Plus each week we will dip back into our Summit Vault and pull out one of the top episodes from the past 3 years.
No more long, boring, drawn out interviews. I get it. I’m as burnt out as you are on them. They were great for a while. But after 230 interviews they started to sound all the same.
The Story:
I’ll fill you in on the story. Earlier this year I was sitting with my team and I told them the truth. I said, “I really don’t want to keep doing the podcast anymore.” It feels like I’m forcing myself to do something I really don’t want to do, and that is not in alignment with my values or work ethic.
So we pondered, hard about canceling the show. It had been a great run, and had brought us a lot of great benefits over the past 3.5 years of hosting it.
After thinking on it for a few weeks, I came to the realization, it’s not the Podcast I don’t love, it’s the format. I realized I was tired of doing interviews about the same topic, and trying to come up with a different story each time. The people were great of course, it was just there really isn’t a need for more interviews on summits.
When we started we were the ONLY podcast on this topic. Since then we’ve had a lot of imitators, and copy cats come up and run similar shows, take our content, and even our terminology and use it as their own.
So I decided if we are going to keep going forward we are going to do something different. Something that I ENJOY. Something fun.
The next step was I reached out to my great friend, John Lee Dumas, the host of Entrepreneurs On Fire. I had him come out here to my house and we had one of our famous “pool sessions” where we talk life, business, philosophy, and everything in between.
I told him my situation, and said, “what do you think”.
He took a few moments to think about it, and he said, “I think you are right”. People don’t need more interviews, and that’s probably not what they want from you.”
He said, “if it were me, here is exactly what I would do”. And he laid out the exact strategy that we are now implementing for you.
I mean when JLD gives you advice on Podcasting, you listen. He didn’t become one of the top podcast hosts, and shows on the planet for nothing.

With that said, I am excited to announce to you our new Podcast Show, “Virtual Summit Strategies” will be going live starting the first week in October.
3 Shows a Week. 2 Solo Implementation sessions & 1 Epic Vault Session. And every episode will have an EPIC Resource that you can access.
The Goal of the Show is to give you the tips, tools, strategies and resources you need to host a bingeworthy, successful Virtual Summit.
No cookie cutter, out of the box, boring, bombed summits. I’m going to be opinionated, and loud about those opinions, but as the worlds leading summit thought leader with more than 50 direct summits under my belt and hundreds of summits consulted on, and thousands of students coached, I know what works and what doesn't.
And that’s exactly what I’m going to give you.
