At the core of the gospel is disciple-making. Whether it is your neighbor, your congregation, or your own children, every believer should be involved in making disciples. Pastor Steve Curtis lived the disciple-making life. His son JT was the beneficiary of a Dad who modeled Great Commission living for his son. Now that Pastor Steve is in glory, JT was able to step into his dad's shoes and continue the disciple-making process at Providence Baptist Church.
Pastor JT Curtis and Brian Tomblin and some other faithful men from Providence Baptist in Franklin, KY, recently came to the Dominican Republic to survey the mission work taking place in San Pedro de Macoris. During their visit, Gary and Jason had the opportunity to sit down with JT and Brian and talk about the process of making disciples both at home and abroad. You will truly enjoy this episode as you listen to Pastor JT tell his story about how his dad poured into him and discipled him. Brian Tomblin is now the beneficiary of both the ministry and legacy of the late pastor Steve and his good friend and pastor JT. This is a beautiful story of how God works in and through the disciple-making process to advance His kingdom.
You are sure to get a surprise at the end of the podcast as we were abruptly shut down due to a power outage. Still, you will definitely enjoy this episode as it is a challenge to all of us to continue the process of pouring into others and making disciples for God's glory!
