You may not think that skiing, downhill or cross country, would be a popular sport with blind and partially sighted people, but you would be wrong.

 There are clubs all over the world which provide opportunities to get out onto the slopes with sighted guides and some intrepid participants have taken it to Paralympic level.

 RNIB Connect Radio's Allan Russell spoke to Les Mitchell from Scottish Visually Impaired Skiers, to hear more about the Edinburgh based club and it's call for more people to join and get on the slopes.
