Viva Aerobus CEO Juan Carlos Zuazua tells host David Casey how the Mexican ULCC has accelerated its growth since the pandemic, taking advantage of the increasing appetite for low-cost air travel in its home market and the demise of other operators.

As well as expanding its domestic and international network, the airline is also pursuing a joint venture with U.S.-based Allegiant Air to boost their offering on transborder routes. The alliance is the first major partnership between two ULCCs in the Americas.
