Putin took the opportunity because no one was stopping him, the only country that would, would be America, but Putin sees weakness thriving in America with the coward in office now. Putin didn't invade territory under Trump, but he did under Bush, Obama, and Biden, because Trump is a leader and made America thrive with strength.
