Effort can be directed toward anything, but evolution is always focused on your actualization. It is focused on your precise fit to the present needs of the world. The mind clearly does not know the way to the good of the world. Just look around. The mind requires a master, although it will pretend to be master, if the master of intuition is absent. The mind will drive endless "doing" until the Earth gets overwhelmed enough to kick us off. The mind needs to be guided by deep evolutionary intuition. The first step is uncovering that through a process like Life Writing.

We raised a few questions last time around this concept of higher play which I think of as the joy of moving through this life in ways that detect and optimize one’s unique opportunities in any given moment. One of the questions was “How does one know which decision is right in any given moment?” I’ve rephrased the question here to “How does one SENSE which decision is right in any given moment?”  Your Body is your barometer.
