Tom Petty and Stevie Nicks were friends and musical collaborators. In the mid-80s, both needed to make changes in their professional and personal lives for their careers to progress. We’ll describe what was happening behind the scenes as they prepared their 1985 releases, Southern Accents and Rock A Little.

For Valentine’s Day we’ll look back at hits and album tracks that showed Christine McVie’s skill at writing and singing songs that looked at the bliss and uncertainty of love.

Eric Clapton struggled with personal demons and more oversight when making his records in the 1980s. We’ll look back at the album rock hits from his 1980s Warner Brothers albums and how the music he made and the events in his life led to a career resurgence in the 1990s.

Marvin Gaye recorded three albums in the mid 70s- early 80s heavily influenced by the relationships with the women in his life. We’ll be looking back at the albums with our first cohost Lorrie Garafano!
