Story Transcript:

Ro: Primăvara adusese un aer proaspăt și optimist în București.
En: Spring had brought a fresh and optimistic air to București.

Ro: Era timpul alegerilor și oamenii se adunaseră, plini de speranță, la centrul comunitar mare din oraș.
En: It was election time, and people had gathered, full of hope, at the city's large community center.

Ro: Locul freamăta de emoția votării, iar voluntarii se străduiau să mențină ordinea.
En: The place buzzed with the excitement of voting, and the volunteers were striving to maintain order.

Ro: Ioana, o profesoară hotărâtă, stătea la coadă, gânditoare.
En: Ioana, a determined teacher, stood thoughtfully in line.

Ro: Pentru ea, votul era o datorie importantă.
En: For her, voting was an important duty.

Ro: Dorea să sprijine o reformă în educație, ceva esențial pentru viitorul elevilor săi.

En: "I'm not the only one worried about education," she said to herself when she heard someone mentioning the same concerns.

Ro: Auzind asta, se simțea mai motivată.
En: Hearing that, she felt more motivated.

Ro: La un moment dat, coada se mișcă.
En: At one point, the line moved.

Ro: Ioana zâmbi.
En: Ioana smiled.

Ro: "Trebuie să am răbdare", își reaminti, gândindu-se la elevii ei care abia așteptau să afle cum fusese experiența votului.
En: "I must be patient," she reminded herself, thinking of her students who were eager to learn how the voting experience had been.

Ro: Pe măsură ce se apropia de secția de vot, Ioana observă că Radu asculta cu interes o conversație.
