“Fake News” is bantered about constantly, in this show you will find out what local and national news sources are most trusted by Montanans. The results come from a survey commissioned by the Greater Montana Foundation and conducted by the University of Montana Bureau of Business and Economic Research. The foundations first surveys were conducted in 2015 and 2016 and set a baseline for evaluating Montana news consumption in the digital age. The trends between then and now are definitely thought provoking.

We  also discussed the work being done by the Children, Families, Health, and Human Services Interim Legislative Committee on HJ 48 and HJ 49

Billings Mayor Bill Cole and Councilman Mike Yakawich discussed the constraints of the budget for municipalities vs the need for public safety. The City of Billings has been dipping into reserves to pay for the increase in crime for several budget cycles, we discussed what is being done to address the issue.

We took your calls and talked with Congressman Gianforte about action this week by the Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Communications and Technology, legislation he introduced Thursday to permanently extend the Indian Coal Production Tax Credit, and a resolution to proclaim Oct. 1 as National Health Literacy Day.
