March 31, 2011 Archetypes of the Feminine/Masculine w/Bobroff & Farris - & RESONSIBLE PRIESTESSING /Crystal Blanton
Gary Bobroff and K.D. Farris, Jungian authors, workshop facilitators, therapists and graduates of Pacifica Graduate Institute discuss Masculine and Feminine Archetypes in a way that we can determine the primary archetype that guides our life. In doing so, we can recognize our unique gifts, understand what our story is and what the myth of our lives looks like. Understanding their work helps us see ancient, timeless patterns playing out through our lives and through the lives of others and in doing so we can move towards uncovering a deeper truth in our stories and that of those we love. It helps us recognize our path and how we are connected to something larger than ourselves. AT THE BOTTOM OF THE HOUR hear Cyrstal Blanton discuss Reponsible Priestessing covering topics such as managing the demands of balancing this job and that of the mundane world, common pitfalls of priestessing in our community, Priestess self care, managing transference and counter transference, asserting boundaries in priestessing, learning to be confident without developing the High Priestess Complex, and the responsibilities of being a Priestess in our community today. Finally, acquiring knowledge not taught in Pagan books: counseling, conflict meditation and other valuable skills
