In this edition of Home & Abroad, Mithun set the tone for his upcoming trip to Lisbon with a spotlight on some of the finest afro-lusophone sounds. Courtesy of DJ Unknown, you have an hour of bone-rattling kuduro vibes.

DJ Unknown is a producer and DJ of Angolan heritage driven by the pulse of Lisbon’s underground. His productions seamlessly fuse the syncopated weight of Batida, Kuduro, and hard club with the hypnotic slide of Tarraxo, creating some heavy percussive energy. He’s been making some serious waves as of late with releases on Patterns and Trench. Keep your eyes on him and his collective STRESSMUSIK as they go from strength to strength. 💪🏾🇦🇴🇵🇹
