Voices Radio

We’ve got ftronic in the studio until 2pm, bringing an hour of house and deep house as the Voices At Night Takeover continues! Stay locked☀️

Next up for the Voices At Night Takeover, we have Alex Iza in the studio, giving us an hour of summery UKG bangers to soundtrack your afternoon! Stay locked🌞🔥

Starting off the Voices At Night Takeover, Patrisha & Goncalo brought blissed out morning electronic vibes for a sunny Saturday! Best enjoyed with coffee ☕️

Closing us out, we had the sounds of KSLICE delivering a full-hour cypher.

On MC duties, the room was stacked with voices including Lucas Ramsell, TK, Isaiah Shoticaury, RICHMND, Billy Quasar, Frazier Ray and Careless each bringing presence, bars and energy to the floor.

Expect exclusive spins from Lusophone label @patterns.ox off their brand-new drop, weaving through Batida, Baile, grime, UK funky, broken beat, jazzy fragments, gqom and beyond. High energy, high trust, no lulls.

Massive thanks to all the DJs, selectors, MCs, photographers, videographers, engineers and producers who backed and built with us today.

Thank you to Mixcloud for the continued support.

5 years deep, 5 more rolling.

This has been JAMESON JAMESON + KSLICE, and you’ve been locked to The Rent Is Due Takeover 🧾‼️

Over and out

Coming up next on The Rent Is Due is no other than ÖZTEN touching down on the dials.

Expect the unexpected. This one moves like a search-job finder — scrolling through sounds, jumping genres, switching lanes with zero warning. A little bit of everything, stitched together with a heavy drizzle of hot sauce.

Genre lines? Blurred. Energy? High. Transitions? Unpredictable. This is one of those sets where you don’t ask questions

You already know how we do it.

The studio was on fireeeee. Absolute scenes.

The GOAT touched down and for the last hour and a half you’ve been locked into the sounds of JD Reid shutting the place down in the only way he knows how.

Exclusives, fresh drops and unreleased heat threaded through a global bass fusion that travelled far, whilst keeping the London energy. Expect heavy, sweaty and relentless. End-of-work-meeting steam fully let off. No restraint, no pause.

Hold tight. Hold tight. 🔊

Next up on the dials, we were treated to a surprise visit from Denmark finest, Deazy on selector duties, linking up with Josette Joseph and Temesgen for a live in-studio collaboration.

Together, they took on a special live segment titled The Beat of the UK — a raw, expressive moment capturing voices and energy in real time. Blending performance with selection from Temesgen himself.

The vibe was caught. The vibe was called. And the vibeeeee was HERE.

A Vibe Called B stepped up and graced the dials once again as The Rent Is Due takeover rolled on — and honestly? Pandemonium in the best way.

This takeover shines a light on the extended circuits and community worlds of Jameson Jameson and KSLICE, and A Vibe Called B embodied that spirit fully.

All hands on dials, samples, edits, refixes flying left, right and centre. Fearless, playful, sharp. One of those sets where rules disappear and instinct takes over. Absolute madness in the booth.

Someone give her a pay rise immediately.

Set pace. Set fusion. Set soul.

Straight from work and straight into the energy, we had Last Nubian gracing the airwaves this afternoon and lifting the room instantly.

Soulful rhythms led the way, building the perfect elevation to kick-start the Friday feeling. This wasn’t just a set, it was a transition, a reminder of how sound shifts momentum when it’s played with care.

The rent is seriously due, and this one paid up in full.

Honoured to have him back in the studio and stepping firmly into The Rent Is Due, DJ Nav returns to the dials after a hot minute away, reminding us exactly why his presence hits different.

No lane-holding here. Nav moves through the thick of it with range, heavy jungle pressure, soulful fusions that breathe between tempos, and of course the glory and grit of hip-hop anchoring the journey. It’s expansive, instinctive and built on deep listening rather than rules.
