Voices Radio

Welcome to The Potluck Podcast show on Voices Radio. I’m your talk show host, Alabama Jewel. London is one giant simmering cultural melting pot that’s filled to the brim with deliciously rich and flavourful conversations.

Jam Hot Record, Metaphors and Chiasmus. Straight of the back of being MistaJam’s JAM HOT on Capital Dance, EVA @vidadeladiva chats to CHAR @charmusicuk about how her viral hit with Justin Jay ‘Do I Like You Like That’? came to be. Why representing Brighton and leaning into the seaside vibe matters to her!

UNMASKED (powered by MM @madmillennials as you know) is a show about music, mental health and figuring life sh*t as we go. Back with a little rebrand, join Char @charmusicuk and producer Mai @madmillennials for honest conversations that swing between thoughtful, creative and occasionally a lil unhinged, with a sprinkling of our fave tunes. We will be speaking to both music guests and music fans, as well as introducing our new YAP LIST segment.

Beefy techno and sinister electro this month from the butcher bird. Tune in for a mix of new releases and old favourites, with maximum dystopia and irresistible beats throughout.

Tonight we celebrate LOVE.

DATURA DATURA 003 features an exclusive first play of “LOVE” from my forthcoming project DATURA 02, a record shaped by softness, resilience, hidden expression and my ongoing research into Nüshu, the secret written language created by women in rural China.

Not just romantic love, but devotion. The kind of love that survives uncertainty. The kind that asks you to keep creating, keep feeling, keep becoming.

A deep listening session of experimental sound, poetry and reflection for your Sunday evening.
