Philippa is back to take us on a morning walk through the Boglands, exploring human relationship to place through experimental, traditional and contemporary music and field recordings. This month’s show welcomes special guest KRZYSZTOF ZUBEK for a chat about the creative process and improvisation.

KRZYSZTOF ZUBEK is a multi-media artist currently exploring video and sound. He is a member

of the duo LAS IGLASTY (lasiglasty.bandcamp.com), and is currently developing a collaboration project with Les Biologistes Marins' Anton Sconosciuto, as well as attending the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. His work often centres around discrete improvised practices, piano, and electronic

music.

The Ninth episode of Open Windows, a show centred around attention and listening. Featuring an hour of original music by Benjamin Harrison, the show encourages listeners to open their windows and allow the music to interact with their local soundscape, becoming a part of their peripheral listening. The aim is to focus on ambient music’s unique position as an art form that actively eschews its listeners attention, circumventing the ubiquitous attention economics that have seemingly seeped into almost every aspect of daily life. The hope is that listeners can use this hour as a time to direct their attention to something that simply benefits themselves and those close to them. The show aims to create a space for listeners to use for leisure, reflection, and conversation. The interplay between the ambient music and the listeners' surroundings can create a listening experience that roots them in their immediate, real world surroundings and encourages them to direct their attention towards something material, substantial and satisfying.

For this month’s @the.blocksldn missive-  @fronicplaysmusic invites @andyavery_ to go b2b for an hour of the techy, housey goodness.

As both dive headfirst into their collections, expect a few surprises, some left turns and lots grooving.

The Blocks is a party and platform showcasing London’s next wave of queer DJs.

With selections from Shonky, Elia Nafzger & Alexander Skancke, Claudia’s mix this month on Picky beats moves from playful, wonky tech house through to heavier acid & electro, maintaining groove throughout.

For this month’s installation of ‘Behind The Magic’, @bonnetheemixtress collaborates with DJ BB - @cocoabutterlawd, who will be hosting a guest mix on the show, sharing his own ✨magic ✨: The songs and soundtracks which inspired him into being the artist that he is today. Expect a few Easter eggs, memorable basslines, and interesting facts about DJ BB himself.

AC Industries is a DJ and electronic music producer living and working in north London. He has been DJing for over 20 years, and producing since January '23.

His singles "Sour Diesel', “Pirate Radio” and “Roller Disco” were released on EQV Records in 2024. His debut album 'Industrious' was released 12th July 2024. He has multiple other live projects in the pipeline including working with rappers and vocalists from London and Canada.

AC industries has performed at Secret Garden Party in the UK and Burning Man at Black Rock City, Nevada. He has promoted his own nights in Bristol hosting original garage legend MJ Cole.

AC Industries’ next quarterly club night ‘Industrious’ is in June 2026.

He performed at Secret Garden Party festival in Cambridgeshire, 28.07.24, which has previously been attended by 35,000 revellers.

Influenced by a diverse range of artists, from Plump DJs, MJ Cole, Bakey, Yo Speed, Stanton Warriors, Dr. Dre and the melodic genius of Einaudi, his sound is a fusion of stripped-down beats at 130-140 bpm, including celestial sounds, Miami bass, G-Funk; underpinned by an industrial and mechanical aesthetic.

With an unwavering aim to produce clean, crisp bass-heavy sound, AC Industries will keep the beats dropping and to get the all Industrialists moving.

After a week of in-studio radio shows with Voices & Brixton, ToE returns to his usual monthly slot with an hour of mellow dance and breaks and a little teaser of his next release on 17th April.
