From playful back-and-forth to carefully selected sounds doing a little bit of the flirting themselves, the broadcast leans into chemistry, because the best dates always leave you wanting the second one ✨

Tesfa Williams touches down for the breakfast show, easing listeners into the morning with a smooth two hour journey.

Switching from digital to vinyl selections, Tesfa opens the day by digging into his current record rotation, pulling straight from his personal collection. Expect a fluid blend of jazz, house, soulful cuts and broken beat, with the tempo gradually lifting as the show unfolds, setting the pace for the day ahead with intention and groove.

The Duo, as always, come together with an hour of mellow morning magic from differing angles. Luke plays six new tracks with a Eurocentric vibe, featuring Belgian beauties from Kin Gajo & Nabou. Alongside this there is Turkish delight from Ilhan Ersahin, some Nordic-Polish Sentimental Values from Hania Rani, as well as London love from Robohands and Shabaka. Chris celebrates the art of the long player with select cuts by Yazz Ahmed, Johannes Wallmann, Ruby Rushton & Alfa Mist. It all comes together as a glorious melange of wonderful music brought to you with love.

Oxford’s Simple family continue their monthly show on Voices featuring residents and special guests. This month Malicia makes her debut at Simple warming up for the legend that is, Dr Banana. Ahead of that show on Sat 28th Feb we invited her down to Voices to showcase her incredible sound.

Spanish-born and Oxford-based, Malicia is a multi-genre DJ blending tribal, progressive, and tech house on vinyl, while exploring bassy Latinx sounds, guaracha, trance, and tech house digitally. Since 2023, she has been part of Patterns, performing across Oxford and London, and runs her own collective, Fantasia, where she shares sets exploring diverse rhythms and underground grooves.

A staple of Oxford’s nightlife for the past 26 years, Simple continues to throw parties with some of the best DJs on the global circuit as well as local homegrown talent. They’ve just launched their Spring/Summer season of events, kicking things off with a stunning headline set from Soul Mass Transit System …much more to come over the next few months - Dr Banana, Tim Reaper, Blumitsu, Wookie, Just Jane and many more, keeping them at the forefront of the scene.
