Green Man Rising - the Spring Equinox edition of The Wyrding Floor: a Daybreak mix for

the hinge in the year’s door. March was Hlyða to the Anglo-Saxons - the loud month, the

month of storms - and before Mars picked up a sword he was the god who kept the frost off

your seedlings. This is the month where survival gets aggressive. The earth doesn’t gently

wake up. It punches through.

Folklore is the tuning fork, dance music the response: Afro-Latin percussion, highland

electronics, balearic drift, cosmic disco, jazz-sax house, deep dub-space echo and sunrise

warmth - building from invocation hush to full equinox glow. Expect threshold logic, foliate

heads in the hedgerow, and a few gnostic winks for the half-awake.

Every 3rd Friday on Voices Radio (07:00–08:00). Between the roots and the rhythm. Stay

wyrd x

Sunsets Selects returns to the airwaves tonight with a slightly unhinged journey through the dancefloor, starting in the murky corners of dark house and UKG before gradually losing all self control and sprinting headfirst into harder techno and eurodance.

Techno World Music hosted by @inda_flo invites its first special guest @pedrodeejay_ for a world class b2b. Expect tribal, rhythmic, and Latin techno to shake you to your absolute core. It’s 6th gear with these two - lock in for this power hour where two powerhouse DJs collide 🔥🔥🔥

Celebrating women in alt/shoegaze/guitar music with an all vinyl set from @nicolelohara on this fine Thursday evening!

@c.b.kins and @sam.duz, the senior leadership over at Cold Cuts, are back this month, spinning new James Blake and @truthpa5te, responding to listener complaints about the lack of dance music, and honouring Neil Sedaka with research conducted by their new intern/graduate, Tarquin. Tarquin grew up in some area of suburban NW and was supporting himself through working as a server at a restaurant in Newington Green where they apparently hired a child to design the logo. We’re big fans of access to the arts. #indie #alternative
