One last time, on a Tuesday afternoon, Soul Fuel returns with Lewis Smart, closing out nearly 5 years of shows on the airwaves.

For this final session, Lewis looks back through the musical archive, meandering through some of his favourite selections from across the years. A personal journey through the sounds that have shaped the show, from Italian disco and electronic jazz to Brazilian psychedelic funk and blues.

Five years of digging, discovery and deep musical conversations, distilled into one final rotation. Expect left turns, forgotten favourites and those records that have stayed close throughout the journey.

Starting the morning in a slightly different frequency, we had the sounds of Natureza Sonica with Rita, setting the tone with an ambient, low-energy soundscape built for grey skies and slow starts.

Moody melodies, metallic textures, rainy-city atmospheres and the hum of the concrete jungle all found their way into the mix, a real reflection of that familiar back-to-work, corporate-grey motion.

Boglands, explores human relationship to place and nature through experimental, traditional, improvised and contemporary music. This month's show is a special Takeover edition by Genia Isachenko, sound artist and vocalist working with obsolete tech and experimental performance. Having performed their work across London venues such as Ormside Projects, Iklectik, Spanners, they are now looking to perform elsewhere. They also run They Have The Computers, a radio show that explores the intersection between sustainable computation and electronic music. It airs monthly on RTM.FM.

This show blends natural and synthetic sound worlds, highlighting the details and inner movement of repetitive, static forms. The show also features an excerpt of Isachenko’s recent surround triple radio performance at Abbey Gardens, London.
