Après Effex (@apreseffex) is a San Francisco-based music producer, DJ, and sound designer from Vallejo, California. As the performance name and electronic musical project of independent filmmaker and audiovisual artist Luis Perez-Casasola (@luisperezcasasola), this alias serves as an outlet for releasing ambient, textural, and anthemic electronic projects through his imprint, Internal Recordings (@internalrecordings), based in San Francisco. He also co-founded and co-runs Hidden Connections (@hiddenconnections.io), a music collective and event series in the San Francisco Bay Area, with Vallejo-based musician and DJ, Corbin Genthe (@groovswirl).

Internal Recordings (c. 2024) is an imprint and in-house record label powered by Studio Luis Perez-Casasola, a film studio & design practice in San Francisco, California. Founded by Luis Perez-Casasola, Internal specializes in sound design, film scoring, and left-field music productions across diverse genres, including alt-rock, downtempo, ambient, and techno, among others. The label is also home to, internal radio, a radio network and music curation space for transmitting open-format mixtapes such as guest mixes, and, the 'tape' series, mixes of some of the label's musical influences, sounds from eclectic music producers who push the sonic envelope, and tracks from artists on the label, mixed by Luis Perez-Casasola.
