Ambient Memories is a one-hour journey through ambient music curated by London-based ambient artist ides heaven.

This month’s show features a special segment exploring the guitar and its place in ambient music, moving between intimate songwriting, American primitive guitar and more contemporary, experimental approaches to the instrument. Featuring the delicate folk of Ichiko Aoba, the expansive playing of Robbie Basho and the fragmented sounds of newer ambient artists like ulla.

Alongside the guitar special, expect the usual blend of ambient, drone, field recordings and other quiet sounds.

Movements w/ Khinre brings all things 140-160, post-dubstep, 2-step, and breaks in all your favourite flavours of low-end. Tonight focuses on a more energetic and experimental selection of tracks, so expect punchy basslines, unorthodox percussion, and weighty snares with a carefully curated selection of heavy-hitting tracks to make you think twice about beats.

Goh Well is fascinated by the broad spectrum of club music, drawn to detailed, colour-driven sounds unified by textured percussion, deep bass and dynamic melodies, while revelling in the strange intersections between them.

She's played beloved London venues including Fabric, Village Underground, Corsica Studios, Carpet Shop, Grow, The Cause, XOYO, and Dalston Superstore. She holds a residency on Foundation.FM, with further guest appearances on Rinse, NTS, Netil Radio, Voices, and Balamii.

Her approach is rooted in revolutionary optimism and the belief that the dancefloor is a site of collective release and resistance.

For this Voices At Night show, Goh Well presents a set hovering around 160 BPM — jungle, breaks and drum and bass across a range of moods, blending the soulful with the playful.
