It’s the final fight and our second - and third! - giant robots of the season on Voltron! Join hosts Katie Cullen and Megan Salinas, along with guest Josh Keaton (voice of Shiro), for Voltron 7x13: Lions’ Pride Part 2. Voltron has just fended off Sendak’s fleet, only to engage in battle with a mysterious robot that’s fallen from the sky! With its quintessence-vampire blades and quick fighting style, it proves to be too much for Voltron, which is when Atlas literally steps in - it turns out the Atlas has had the ability to transform into a giant robot this whole time, and Shiro puts it to very good use. With the vampire robot vanquished and Earth now an open post and a haven for the Voltron coalition, the question remains: who made the robot, and why? Mysteries for another season.

It’s emotions and battle plans on this week’s Voltron! Hosts Katie Cullen and Megan Salinas recap season 7 episodes 9 and 10. The Paladins have returned to earth, but Hunk’s family is still held captive by the Galra, and a mission to rescue them turns out to be futile. Shiro gets a new arm courtesy of Allura; the Paladins discover that Sendak is building Zaiforge cannons on Earth and may plan to use the planet killers against the planet; and a plan to destroy all six cannons goes awry when Admiral Sanda betrays them all to Sendak in a desperate attempt to save the Earth from the Galra invasion. All this and more on the after show!

We’re back on Earth! This week’s Voltron episodes cover what happened on Earth during the Paladins’ three-year absence in the void of space, and hosts Katie Cullen and Megan Salinas are here to break it down alongside AJ LoCascio, rejoining the show’s cast as new character James Griffin! Earth’s technology advances at a staggering rate thanks to Altean and Galran tech and the unceasing work of Sam Holt; unfortunately, it’s not quite enough to stand up to the inevitable Galra invasion of Earth, led by Sendak in yet another villainous return. A dangerous mission to a supply depot nearly loses Veronica (Lance’s sister, as we soon find out), and instead introduces us to the underground resistance and gets the Garrison the much-needed supplies to finish the as-yet-unveiled ship Atlas. Earth manages to get out one last distress signal, reaching the Paladins just as they head for home.

What’s your favorite scary movie? Hosts Katie Cullen, Megan Salinas, and Alexis Torres and Voltron season writer Mitch Iverson talk in depth about Voltron season 7 episodes 5 and 6: The Ruins and The Journey Within! The Ruins takes us to a deserted planet where one of the last remaining druids sets a trap for the remaining Blades of Marmora and manages to catch the Paladins (and also, the wolf’s name is Kosmo, because that is Important). The Journey Within takes the paladins on a quasi-hallucinatory journey, where they’re lost in space and must stick together to survive, regardless of how they feel about it. Also, the hosts discuss the methods by which Druids are made and whether or not they correlate to Scientology. The hosts receive a gift from fan of the show PrincessPonies (yay!) and say goodbye to our Blue Lion Alexis Torres (aww). We’ll miss her!

Zethrid and Ezor have taken the paladins, but not for long, as it’s Coran and Acxa to the rescue! Also, Voltron has been missing for three years, which is A Problem. Before we can start to solve it, the paladins are taken by reality bender and superpowerful cosmic being Bob to compete in his hit game show, Glarfle Warfle Snick! Will the power of teamwork prevail? (Well, obviously, because this is only episode 4, but the game is still amazing.)
