Shadrach starts with his background: his early days in the Internet, and how the initial infrastructure was peer-to-peer & free (as in freedom)

Mesh networks: merging high tech with low tech. Is there potential/possibility/use in going from Meshtastic to shortwave radio, Meshtastic to AM/FM, etc.?

Thane: there is certainly use for shortwave radio. Long range with equipment anyone can get their hands on; problem is it’s regulated
