Last chapter Tacenda, Davriel, and company were attacked by the priory in the Verlasen church. In the skirmish we found out a bit more about how Davriel got his powers via sucking them out of people, and we got to know more about each demon. We also found out Miss Highwater's true demon name, "Voluptara," and she seemed disturbed about it. Why? Moreover, we're learning just how human Davriel truly is-- it seems he really cares about his demons. Interesting. Let's find out what where this leads.

Last episode we left off with Tacenda threatening the man of the manor with inconvenience-- that is, she promised that he would never get another nap again, whether she was dead or alive, she would haunt his life by sending heroes in his direction. Annoying the rest of his  existence until she got what she wanted. Reminds me of Dr. Strange and Dormamu. Clash of the multiverses. I'd watch that crossover. Anyway,let's see what happens next.

So where are we? We left off with Tacenda getting caught in the man of the manor's room, after an attempt to assassinate him after he killed everyone in Tacenda's village. I think her reaction is fair. But who is the man of the manor, really? Where did he come from? Who is Miss Highwater? What will happen to Tacenda? Let's find out, shall we?

Where else would you be able to hear a consistently bad British-Austrailian accent attempted by an American and published shamelessly?
