Branded in Faith, not Stranded in Fear “F-factor.
A good understanding and knowledge of your divine identity (branded in Christ) puts you ahead of your adversaries and guarantees your victory even in the midst of challenges. On the other hand, failure to recognize or claim your divine identity, painfully leaves you with no other option, but fear. Faith is God’s brand while fear is the devil’s brand. Choose to be branded in Christ (Word) and reject to be stranded in the World.
Whenever you are faced with a challenge or difficult situation, choose to step out in faith and be grounded in the knowledge of the Word of truth which is superior to the facts of challenges or issues on ground. Refuse to stay stranded on the same spot or position, because this will hinder you from going forward to possess your possessions.
Ruth caught this revelation hence she insisted on going back to Bethlehem Judah with Naomi, her Mother In-law rather than staying stranded in Moab where she had lost so much. As she yielded herself to step out in faith with Naomi, their latter end was more glorious than their former and they were totally restored, moving from a state of being so overwhelmed to a state of being overjoyed.
The four lepers at the Gate of Samaria almost lost the opportunity they had to claim the blessings God Had divinely prepared for them by driving away the Syrians which had made them so fearful. When they took a step forward, they found no one in the camp of the Syrians because the Lord Had made their enemies hear a strange sound and they ran away, leaving all the good of the Land for them to possess. Often times, the enemies we are so fearful of are God’s target for destruction. He already assured us in His Word that “No weapon fashioned against us shall prosper and every tongue raised against us in judgement is condemned” Isaiah 54:17.
We are above our adversaries and not beneath as the devil or situations make it look.
When you take a stand for Jesus Christ, the Saviour you will receive boldness to step out in faith, and not stay stranded in fear.
Faith grows or matures us spiritually and maximizes our potential, while fear limits our growth, reduces or minimizes our potential.
Nugget: The World standard remains inferior and limited compared to the Word standard which is unlimited and supernatural.
“And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God:” Ruth 1:16 KJV.
“And there were four leprous men at the entering in of the gate: and they said one to another, Why sit we here until we die? If we say, We will enter into the city, then the famine is in the city, and we shall die there: and if we sit still here, we die also. Now therefore come, and let us fall unto the host of the Syrians: if they save us alive, we shall live; and if they kill us, we shall but die. And they rose up in the twilight, to go unto the camp of the Syrians: and when they were come to the uttermost part of the camp of Syria, behold, there was no man there. For the LORD had made the host of the Syrians to hear a noise of chariots, and a noise of horses, even the noise of a great host: and they said one to another, Lo, the king of Israel hath hired against us the kings of the Hittites, and the kings of the Egyptians, to come upon us. Wherefore they arose and fled in the twilight, and left their tents, and their horses, and their asses, even the camp as it was, and fled for their life. And when these lepers came to the uttermost part of the camp, they went into one tent, and did eat and drink, and carried thence silver, and gold, and raiment, and went and hid it; and came again, and entered into another tent, and carried thence also, and went and hid it.”
2 Kings 7:3-8 KJV.
