Redundancy or lack precedes Abundance “Empty to Plenty”
Famine shuts natural doors and opens the door of “The Supernatural”
Life is in seasons, and for reasons.
Joseph was wise to understand this concept or principle. In time of abundance he kept sufficient bread in preparation for the season of famine. When eventually his brothers needed food, he was able to give them from the reserve he had set aside.
The natural is common to all, but the supernatural is only experienced by a few chosen or elected by grace. This is why it is very wise to choose the path of righteousness and obedience to God, the Creator and owner of all that pertains to creation.
So many who encountered the Holy Spirit, advanced from the ordinary to super-ordinary or from natural to supernatural. No one encounters God (The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit) and remains the same. There is usually a positive shift or advancement.
This was why God spoke to the Israelites when they murmured as a result of the oppression by the Egyptians to “Go forward”
When you get to know the God who Has called you out of darkness into His marvellous Light, you will not struggle to advance forward and soar higher than your adversaries. Elijah moves ahead of Ahab and the mighty hand of God was upon Him.
When you surrender all to Jesus, you will move from breakdown to breakthrough, empty to Plenty, redundant to Abundance.

Make good use of opportunities that you are given to do what you are expected to do at the right time. Spend wisely and you will stand strong in the time of Famine.
1 Kings 18:41-46.
“Then Elijah said to Ahab, “Go up, eat and drink; for there is the sound of abundance of rain.” So Ahab went up to eat and drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; then he bowed down on the ground, and put his face between his knees, and said to his servant, “Go up now, look toward the sea.” So he went up and looked, and said, “There is nothing.” And seven times he said, “Go again.” Then it came to pass the seventh time, that he said, “There is a cloud, as small as a man’s hand, rising out of the sea!” So he said, “Go up, say to Ahab, ‘Prepare your chariot, and go down before the rain stops you.’
“Now it happened in the meantime that the sky became black with clouds and wind, and there was a heavy rain. So Ahab rode away and went to Jezreel. Then the hand of the Lord came upon Elijah; and he girded up his loins and ran ahead of Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.” I Kings 18:41-46
“Then Elisha said, “Hear the word of the Lord. Thus says the Lord: ‘Tomorrow about this time a seah of fine flour shall be sold for a shekel, and two seahs of barley for a shekel, at the gate of Samaria” II Kings 7:1 NKJV.
“But Simon answered and said to Him, “Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net.” And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking.” Luke 5:5-6 NKJV.
“So when the money failed in the land of Egypt and in the land of Canaan, all the Egyptians came to Joseph and said, “Give us bread, for why should we die in your presence? For the money has failed.” Then Joseph said, “Give your livestock, and I will give you bread for your livestock, if the money is gone.” So they brought their livestock to Joseph, and Joseph gave them bread in exchange for the horses, the flocks, the cattle of the herds, and for the donkeys. Thus he fed them with bread in exchange for all their livestock that year.”
