Voters in Chile will choose between a communist candidate and a far-right conservative at a presidential run-off next month, after Sunday's first round failed to produce a clear winner.

Crime and rising migration are the dominating issues in this race, with both sides promising a tougher response to foreign gangs such as Venezuela's Tren de Aragua.
