June 22, 2023 - After voters rejected a broad expansion of mail voting proposed by a 2021 state referendum, Democratic state lawmakers in Albany are getting creative with New York's early voting system to create new chances to vote without heading to the polls, according to Jarret Berg, an election lawyer and co-founder of Vote Early New York.
