Nl: De zon scheen helder op de ramen van de oude school in Amsterdam, nu tijdelijk omgetoverd tot een stembureau.
En: The sun shone brightly on the windows of the old school in Amsterdam, now temporarily transformed into a polling station.

Nl: Voor de deur stonden mensen in een lange rij, hun gesprekken vermengd met de geur van lente en bloeiende bloemen.
En: In front of the door stood people in a long line, their conversations mingling with the scent of spring and blooming flowers.

Nl: Bram, een jonge vader en ingenieur, hield de hand van zijn kleine dochter Lieke stevig vast.
