It has been more than a year since I returned from The Philippines. Ems and I had an amazing vacation, spent a lot of time with our family there. I studied a lot of construction and farming practices while I was there, looked at several business opportunities, and we really enjoyed settling into our relationship... bonding as they say in that nation.... I miss you Mahal, you are my heart, my hope, my joy, my life.. Muahhhh

While we were in the Philippines at Almont Beach Resort Surigao, I was writing all the thoughts and ideas I got while we were there. Lot's of fun!!

Human Sex Trafficking Starts with Grooming Teens, desensitizing them and encouraging them to participate in behaviors that are promoted by traffickers through social media sites. Often young people do not understand how these games and images are created and promoted to them by the trafficking industry. Their parents are equally unaware of how sophisticated, well funded, and powerful the trafficking cartels are. Each year, tens of thousands of girls and boys are captured and forced into sexual slavery.

In one comprehensive study performed in San Diego County, California, the industry does more business than the Port of San Diego, one of the largest seaports in the United States. There are thousands of pimps operating tens of thousands of sex workers, and the industry is growing because there is an ever increasing demand for sex workers. Most of those workers are controlled and forced to perform, many of them starting as young teenagers.

If we are going to stop this abuse, we have to start talking about the issue and educating parents on what to look for.

This is one of the reasons I wrote the Gary Booker Novel Series, which are adventure romance novels about a team of mercenaries that fight human trafficking organizations.

How to start writing? I started by just jumping in, although I did just about everything wrong! Oh, if I had only known then, what I know now! I started writing out of a personal challenge and my feeling that I could write as well as many published authors. Well, I was right, but I vastly underestimated the amount of effort it takes to develop the skills and create a system that allows a manuscript to come from any natural talent that might be there. In this first video I will introduce myself and share some thoughts on this subject. In future videos I will help explain the process of writing, from my viewpoint. Hopefully, when you know how to start writing correctly, it will save you a LOT of time fixing mistakes and allow you to better enjoy the fruits of your talent.
