Waco PD on the BEAT

In episode 4 of Waco PD on the BEAT co-hosts Cierra Shipley and A.J. Smith sit down at Cameron Park and talk a little bit about themselves. We wanted to introduce us since we're the ones hosting this episode each week we wanted to say hi! We talk about what got us to working at the police department, and why we enjoy it so much.

In this episode we talk with Isabel King the Victim Services Coordinator and Crime Victims Compensation (CVC) Specialist. The Victim Services Unit works in 3 main parts and CVC is one of the many services the Victim Services Unit provides. CVC can help assault victims find new homes or help cover funeral expenses for those involved in a crime. Isabel covers all this and so much more on this Episode of Waco PD on the BEAT.

Learn about the backstory of one of our own, Officer Sofie Martinez works in the Community Outreach Division. She's been with the Waco Police Department for two decades. Working closely with kids in the community she inspires them to lead a good life and strive for their goals (whether that's being a police officer or not). Sofie is a great example of who we are at the Waco Police Department and why we love serving our community.
