Wade Keller Pro Wrestling Post-shows

PWTorch editor Wade Keller is joined by PWTorch's Javier Machado to review WWE Smackdown with live chat and caller interactions throughout. The show opens with a lengthy discussion on WWE doubling down on the Pat McAfee nonsense and explain why it's counter-productive hack content usually reserved for dying pro wrestling companies, plus what not to get distracted by (such as whether McAfee landed some blows to C.M. Punk facade) and where to focus (top execs with conflicts of interest pushing this narrative nonsense). Also, what's going on with Sami Zayn and was he really trying to get fans to cheer him and what does it say there were so few? Also, thoughts on other aspects of the show as WrestleMania 42 nears.

PWTorch editor Wade Keller is joined by PWTorch's Eric Corbridge to review WWE Smackdown with live chat and caller interactions throughout. The show opens with an epic rant by Wade about the utter nonsense that was that opening segment with Pat McAfee turning on Cody Rhodes and aligning with Randy Orton. On so many levels, it was drivel and symptomatic of so many misguided overreactions and bankrupt creative philosophies. They also talk about the pros and cons of the Sami Zayn-Trick Williams situation and whether Carmelo Hayes will still be involved, Danhausen's curse on the referee, and much more from a newsworthy show.

PWTorch editor Wade Keller was joined by PWTorch contributor Dennis Kline to review AEW Dynamite with live caller and chat interactions. Topic A was the surprise return of Chris Jericho and the largely tepid response from the Winnipeg fans as Jericho awkwardly stood in the ring as we watched in real time his realization that he might have some work to do to regain past glory. Then, the Kenny Omega-MJF build, AEW's leaning into scaring fans with real life injuries being played up in over-the-top ways, Willow Nightingale's most Willow-like promo yet (in all the bad ways), AEW seeming to avoid airing potential F-Ice chants with Brody King, Jon Moxley-Will Ospreay, and much more.
