In episode 50 of wait,WHAT!? The boys start off with the usual weekly recaps, Damien has a hectic weekend which leads him to a realization discussed in the Millennial Moment. Courtney details his week of Juneteenth celebrations as he commemorates Americas true Independence Day. Both boys had a blast at the comedy show performed by the Queen of West Texas comedy Stephanie “shonuff” Spencer. Courtney’s mind is a tribute to the passing of civil rights icon Robbyne Hocker Fuller. The Millennial moment features Damien becoming more self aware. Damien offers a recommendation and the show wraps up.

In episode 49 of Wait,WHAT!? The boys skip recapping their weeks and get right into Courtney’s mind off the top of the show which covers a bomb shell resignation announcement by a MISD School Board member. Courtney also talks about Fmr President Trumps indictment in Florida. Damien talks a little about his first book club meeting before the boys welcome on a special guest: Comedian, Entrepreneur & Agriculturalist, Stephanie “Shonuff” Spencer. (44:12) (listeners can skip at the 30 minute mark to the 44 minute mark as the show experienced technical difficulties bringing Stephanie on.) They talk all things chickens, comedy, and most importantly Juneteenth. The millennial moment is a short poem (1:20:15) the show ends with recommendations from Courtney & Stephanie.

In episode 48 of Wait,WHAT!? Damien’s feeling sick on the show and doesn’t have the same energy as usual. But the show must always go on. The boys recap their weeks before getting into Courtney’s mine (26:15) which covers the topic of a bond proposal for MISD and the possibility of 2 new high school campuses. The Millennial Moment (1:00:20) is about the 2024 presidential race heating up and the crowded field of Republican nobodies ready to run (or roll) to victory. Finally in recommendation corner (1:11:30) Damien has a snarkier recommendation than usual which leads Courtney to have an even snarkier recommendation that Damien was not a fan of.

In episode 47 of wait,WHAT!? The boys start the show off with an unintentionally deep conversation before recapping their weeks. Courtney’s mind (31:48) is a loose string of collective thoughts this week. Firstly he’s thrilled for summer time and having more free time. He says goodbye to a good friend who’s moving from west Texas and wonders how it will affect leadership with Basin Pride. Courtney gets invited to a superintendents summit which has him questioning diversity in the superintendents office. Then he touches a little on the impeachment of AG Ken Paxton. The Millennial Moment (52:55) sees Damien learning to embrace the Villain roll, and it’s Courtney Approved. Neither guy has a recommendation and the show ends with usual goodbye banter.

In part 2 Courtney finishes telling the listeners about his day & his week before he gets into what’s on his mind which is? For the love of God can school just end already!? He’s a tired man and he needs a break. Then the millennial moment shows Damien taking us back to the poetry lounge which Courtney describes as “another sad Damien poem”. Finally Courtney offers a recommendation before the boys go ahead and wrap the show up.

Episode 45 of Wait,WHAT!? Begins with Damien recapping his week, a much better one than last! Then Courtney’s weekly recap IS the Courtney’s mind segment (14:42) then Damien has an existential crisis on the millennial moment (1:02:15) finally Courtney has a recommendation to offer (1:18:15) before the boys wrap the show up.

In episode 44 of Wait,WHAT!? Both boys have had long irritating weeks. Courtney’s mind (24:35) is a two-parter. First: why the **** can’t medical professionals communicate amongst themselves about a patients issues instead of relying on the patient to relay information!? Secondly a new in a long line of mass shootings as occurred in Allen Tx. This one hits close to home for both boys and another exhausting discussion on the ramifications of gun violence must be had. The millennial moment comes next ( 52:30) where the boys take the ISideWith political quiz, no surprises to be had on where that one ends up. There are no recommendations on todays show! The boys skip the usually weekly recaps and get right into Courtney’s Mind (2:48) fmr MISD Superintendent Angelica Ramsey has been busy poaching talent left & right from the district. Does ECISD need to keep an extra vigilant eye on Stephanie Howard? The boys then welcome on guest Jennie Stinebaugh Fanous (31:05) to talk about the court case involving staff members of Trinity School of Midland. Damien then spends the millennial moment talking about his move into his new apartment (1:21:40) Courtney’s take away? Screw having a front door! It’s totally safe without one! And finally Jennie gives a small recommendation (1:37:00) before the show wraps up with the usual goodbyes.

In episode 42 of wait,WHAT!? The boys lead the show with the usual recap of their weeks before getting into Courtney’s Mind (31:28) which is a more somber seg than usual as Courtney gets vulnerable and personal while talking about a friend of his who fell victim to gun violence. This leads the boys to a discussion on the issue of unregulated gun violence as a whole before moving on to the Millennial Moment (1:12:20) a 2 parter with Damien first proposing a question to Courtney and then Damien talking about a morning routine he’s adopted for 3 months now.
