I’m episode 43 of Wait.WHAT!? The boys skip the usually weekly recaps and get right into Courtney’s Mind (2:48) fmr MISD Superintendent Angelica Ramsey has been busy poaching talent left & right from the district. Does ECISD need to keep an extra vigilant eye on Stephanie Howard? The boys then welcome on guest Jennie Stinebaugh Fanous (31:05) to talk about the court case involving staff members of Trinity School of Midland. Damien then spends the millennial moment talking about his move into his new apartment (1:21:40) Courtney’s take away? Screw having a front door! It’s totally safe without one! And finally Jennie gives a small recommendation (1:37:00) before the show wraps up with the usual goodbyes.

In episode 42 of wait,WHAT!? The boys lead the show with the usual recap of their weeks before getting into Courtney’s Mind (31:28) which is a more somber seg than usual as Courtney gets vulnerable and personal while talking about a friend of his who fell victim to gun violence. This leads the boys to a discussion on the issue of unregulated gun violence as a whole before moving on to the Millennial Moment (1:12:20) a 2 parter with Damien first proposing a question to Courtney and then Damien talking about a morning routine he’s adopted for 3 months now. In episode 41 of wait,WHAT!? The boys start off by recapping their weeks before getting into Courtney’s Mind. A seg which could be boiled down to: MISD officials do not know what they’re doing. The first stretch covers how it seems kids are being sent to schools at random and not based on their location, and how this effects the schools they’re being sent to. The second stretch is about how district officials need to stop interfering with Coleman High School. The boys then get into the newly coined “Millennial Moment” seg. Damien talks about his frustrations about getting clear cut answers to starts self care routine. The boys then decide to skip the usual recommendation seg.

In episode 40 of wait,WHAT!? The boys start off with the usual weekly recap although Courtney gives a lengthy daily recap. Then we move to Courtney’s Mind (30:33) which is about public money funding private school vouchers. He is not a fan. The boys then have a good discussion about the state of education. We then get the VERY last poem of the official poetry seg (1:12:00) after the reading and discussion Courtney makes a big announcement (1:17:20) and then the boys end things with the usual recommendations (1:23:25)

In episode 39 of wait,WHAT!? The show opens with a cheating scandal that rocks the world of podcasting!! Jk.. but Courtney was not pleased. But after Damien gives a brief recap of his week Courtney’s busy week occupies the Courtney’s Mind segment (15:43) talking about basin pride and also bringing a little education tea. Then Damien has a Damien’s Mind seg for us (59:55) then a weekly poetry seg (1:10:41) and then the usual recommendations (1:23:16)

In episode 38 of wait,WHAT!? The show starts off with an extra large weekly recap from the boys before getting to Courtney’s mind (36:32) a discussion on how the Texas State Legislator and the nations laws in general are trending more and more to silence and harm LGBTQ individuals. This weeks poem isn’t an original, but it is a good one (1:03:35) and then the show ends with the usual recommendations (1:11:11)

In episode 37 of wait,WHAT!? The boys give an extra long weekly recap before moving to the issue everyone’s wanted to hear more about the potential book ban in midland county, this segment is of course, Courtney’s Mind (25:42) after an intricate retailing of all things Midland library policy the show moves to the weekly poetry seg (1:13:20) and then ending with the recommendations (1:23:35)

I’m episode 36 of wait,WHAT!? The show kicks off with the usual banter and weekly recap before starting Courtney’s mind (13:07) An interesting meeting with the MISD super intendant and then a discussion on book bans but specifically books being banned from the Midland County Public Library. Before the poetry seg Damien asks Courtney a pressing questions and a discussion is held (46:30) then the usual Poetry seg (1:09:12) and the usual recommendation wrap-up (1:19:12)

In episode 35 of wait,WHAT!? We experience NO AUDIO ISSUES and it is a happy day!! The show starts off with the usual banter and weekly catch up before Damien makes a special announcement regarding Courtney (11:50) this perfectly segways into Courtney’s Mind (19:10) a recap of a black history program he organized at Pease Elementary this ultimately culminates in a broader discussion of why the celebration and recognition of black history in America is so important. The boys then talk a small amount of sports (66:15) before getting into the Poetry Seg (73:40) which posed a question that had Courtney saying Wait,What!? Then the show ends with the usual recommendations(80:56)

Pt.2 of episode 34 of Wait,WHAT!? Gets right back into the discussion about East Palestine Ohio, this leads us to the weekly poetry seg (29:40) and then closing with the usual recommendations(38:25)
