The boys start off with their usual banter before moving on to Courtney’s mind: a segment on local midland issues including funding turfing for hogan park in midland, a questionable decision by the new super intendant, Courtney agreeing with a surprising member of the school board.. and a brief touch on the National classified documents case, which included an IRS rant from Damien. The boys touch on a lot of sports talk before moving on to Courtney’s FAVORITE dad joke yet and then the usual weekly recommendations

In episode 30 of wait,WHAT!? Pt.1 the boys are once again plagued by connectivity issues causing a split in the programming. But the show goes on! The show kicks off with an important discussion on MLK day (.51) before working their way to recapping Damien’s trip to Texas (12:50) Courtney’s mind is a 2 parter first discussing the Midland Tx rumor mill and Courtney’s ever public health information (25:50) Pt 2 of Courtney’s mine focuses on the investigation surrounding classified government documents (42:29) the boys then moved on to some football talk (54:21)

In the second part of episode 29 the show kicks off with Damien announcing a big life change, followed by discussion by him and Courtney. The show then leads through the usual poem and then the recommendations before wrapping up.

The first episode of the new year is here with wait,WHAT!? Episode 29 pt.1 Thanks to some technical difficulties this episode of wait,WHAT!? Will be split into two parts. The show starts with the boys catching up as usual before getting into what’s on Courtney’s mind. A discussion on Bills Safety Damar Hamlin, but more so how society as a whole views athletes. Courtney’s mind came with a Pt.2 as well, with a discussion on the vote to elect a Speaker of the House and the discourse in the Republican Party

Episode 28 of wait,WHAT!? Is a good one!! In the “official” end of season 1, Courtney and Damien start the show with the usual banter and a brief but meaningful “What’s on Courtney’s Mind” segment. The boys welcome on guest Heather Hughes Bredimus to give a year in review of the show. Damien gives a New Years dad joke that got exactly 0 laughs. The show ends with the usual poetry seg and then the recommendations.

In episode 27 of wait,WHAT!? The boys spend a good deal of time catching up, which includes a totally wrong opinion on Lord of the Rings by Courtney, discussions of Courtney’s school activities which sega right into What’s On Courtney’s Mind? Which focuses on Midland hiring the new superintendent. The boys spend a little time discussions politics before getting into Damien’s weekly seg. The boys give their recommendations and then have a little delayed sports talk before wrapping the show up.

In episode 26 of wait,WHAT!? The boys record later than usual but that doesn’t prevent there being good conversation. Courtney talks about a crisis in keeping educators in the Permian basin, specifically midland. Courtney’s mind is a segment on the pride center of west Texas and gay acceptance. Damien delivers a very personal poem this week which happened to tie into Courtney’s mind. Courtney gives a very nice recommendation, Damien provides a rant.. that Courtney translates into a nice recommendation.

In episode 25 of wait, WHAT!? The boys are more relaxed than we last heard them. The show starts off with a recap of Courtney and Damien’s days. Courtney doesn’t have much on his mind but as always he finds something to say. Damien’s seg gets some real snaps out of Courtney. Courtney ALMOST didn’t have a recommendation but he pulled through in the end. Damien’s is short and sweet. Thank you to all our listeners!
