  • Curing the fear of needles
Clinton Maynard is joined by hypnotherapist Mark Stephens, to find out about using hypnotherapy as a cure for trypanophobia, the extreme fear of having injections or medical procedures.
Estimated to affect one in 10 adults, the symptoms range from a racing heart and dizziness to breathlessness and feeling nauseous.
"Reprogramming the subconscious mind is the key. Phobias are a learned experience, so it's a matter of being able to teach a person with a phobia to relax and feel in control," says Master Practitioner of Hypnosis (ABH) Mr Stephens.
Mark is giving away a Phobia Free manual, along with a recorded mindful self-hypnosis session that he has made available for anyone who needs help overcoming a fear of needles.

Clinton Maynard is joined by James Goodwin, Australian Airports Association (AAA) Chief Executive Officer, who says Australia’s major international airports are ready to facilitate the return of overseas travel with the Australian Government investing $64 million in international security screening requirements.
Mr Goodwin says “Australia’s airports will perform a vital role in assisting government facilitate any new protocols and procedures as international travel resumes. We know restarting international aviation is not as simple as just opening the border.”

  • The power of social media and business
Clinton Maynard speaks with Marketing Expert Jessie Weatherley, about Aussie businesses being advised to invest in social media, with many of them paying experts hundreds or thousands of dollars a month to create and run content, but ultimately being disappointed with lackluster results.
Ms Weatherley says social media wasn’t designed for business, and there are few business categories that consumers want to actively engage with on social media.
Businesses can still drive results through social media, but they need to look at it through a different lens and adjust their expectations of how it will help their business.
