Scripture of the Day: Isaiah 40:27-31, Psalm 73:21-28
Series Theme: Abiding - Planted and Thriving in Busy Seasons
Some mornings you're tired before your feet even hit the floor. Not sleepy tired. Worn-thin tired, the kind that comes from carrying everything and still showing up.
What if renewed strength didn't mean gritting your teeth and pushing harder? What if it just meant staying close enough to God to let Him carry you?
Today I'm in Isaiah 40 and Psalm 73, meditating on the picture of an eagle. Eagles use their large wingspans to soar on currents they didn't create. That current is the Holy Spirit, and abiding close to Him is what changes weariness into steadiness, and steadiness into peace.
Maybe you know the feeling.
The alarm goes off and you're already running behind on energy you don't have yet. Or your current season asks more of you than most. The good news is that there's a way through it that doesn't ask for more grit.
If you're deep in a season that's stretching your endurance further than you expected, and you're tired and need a lift, this one's for you.
Scripture of the Day: Acts 16:22-34
Series Theme: Abiding: Planted and Thriving in Busy Seasons
Have you ever felt weighed down by something you can't quite name? A rejection that still stings. A worry that won't go quiet. A season of waiting with no end in sight.
What if the cell door was already open, the chains already loose, and the only thing left was to stand up and walk out?
You've prayed for the feeling to lift. You've tried to think your way to peace. And still the anxiety creeps back in.
Can you relate?
When your sense of belonging feels threatened, everything in you goes on high alert. But what if you could change the very foundation of every circumstance and relationship in your life for the better?
Today on Wake Up Loved, you'll sit with Paul and Silas in a midnight prison, singing while the ground shakes and every door swings open. You'll find what it means to be unshakable. Rooted deeper than the storm. Anchored to a love that nothing can take.
If you've ever laid awake replaying something someone said or wondered about a waiting season, this episode is for you.

Do you have an unresolved issue that never seems to go away, no matter how much you pray, plan, or push through? Today we’re reflecting on Paul’s “thorn in the flesh” from 2 Corinthians, where God tells him, “My grace is sufficient for you.”
Have you ever wondered if God will ever remove your “thorn”or why He hasn’t yet? If so, you’re not alone. Many of us carry a persistent ache, a chronic struggle, or an old wound that quietly colors our days. It can feel humbling, scary, and deeply personal to name it out loud.
If you’ve wrestled with ongoing sadness, chronic conditions, or the kind of mental and emotional weight that feels ever-present, and you long to experience God’s nearness in it, this episode is for you.
This isn’t about gritting your teeth through pain. It’s about learning holy dependence that softens our hearts, guides our choices, and shapes us into Christ’s likeness right where we feel weakest. When God’s resurrection life meets your weakness, God’s power shines through, so you can be the friend, neighbor, colleague, parent or person you’re meant to be.

Have you ever felt like the world just won’t stop needing you? Like no matter how hard you try to carve out rest, someone or something always pulls you back?
What if Jesus didn’t just permit rest, but modeled it? What if setting boundaries wasn’t selfish, but necessary?
In this eighth episode of Wake Up Loved, we enter a new week in our 30-day abiding journey and begin by exploring one of the most overlooked but life-giving habits modeled by Jesus: rest.
If you’ve ever felt pulled in too many directions, constantly needed by others, or unsure how to set boundaries without guilt... this episode is for you.
We’re reading three short but powerful passages that show how even Jesus, amid great need and urgent crowds, stepped away to recharge in quiet places. You’ll walk away with a refreshing reminder: the pressure to always be available is not from God.
Plus, you’ll hear an unexpected story about setting boundaries with difficult people, a lesson from Jesus on unmet expectations, and how time with Him, even when nothing else changes, can shift everything inside you.
Can you relate to feeling guilty about rest? Have you ever wrestled with the idea that your worth is tied to your availability?
You’re not alone. We’ve all been there. Let this episode speak gently into those weary places and remind you that choosing rest is an act of faith.

Scripture of the Day: Luke 10:38–42; Luke 11:1–4

Ever feel like you're doing all the things and still missing the peace you're after? In this episode of Wake Up Loved, we explore two deeply connected moments in Scripture: the familiar story of Mary and Martha, and the Lord’s Prayer taught directly by Jesus.
You’ll uncover what Jesus' gentle response to Martha reveals about anxious living, how the temptation to compare is alive in both sacred and mundane places, and why your daily chores might actually be a powerful invitation to worship. Maraya also draws a surprising link between the emotional weight of the Garden of Gethsemane and your own kitchen sink, helping you reframe even the smallest tasks in a new light.
This episode is especially for you if you're feeling distracted, overburdened, or spiritually dry in the midst of a busy season.

Have you ever felt like you had to show up with all the answers? Like adulthood came with this silent pressure to be in control, to have it all figured out—even in your relationship with God?
What if the invitation wasn’t to strive for spiritual perfection, but to return to the posture of a child - open, trusting, humble?
In this sixth episode of Wake Up Loved, we explore what it means to approach God with childlike faith. You’ll hear how Jesus not only welcomed children, but called all of us to adopt their simplicity and deep trust. Through Scripture, reflection, and personal stories, we’ll uncover how reclaiming your inner child can transform your spiritual life and your day.
Can you relate to feeling like you always have to hold it all together? Have you ever longed to simply be in God’s presence without pressure?
I get it. We’ve all been there trying to measure up, while what God really desires is childlike nearness. Let this episode be your gentle reminder: You don’t need to have it all figured out to be deeply loved and valuable.
