”Good understanding Gaines favor, but the way of the unfaithful is hard.” Proverbs 13:15. Being faithful can be difficult and challenging but the fruit of faithfulness is priceless. On the other hand and faithfulness leads to regret and heartache. The Lord who calls you is faithful and he will strengthen you to remain faithful.

“When Pride comes, then comes shame; but with the humble is wisdom.” Proverbs 11:1. A comparison is drawn between pride and humility. Pride brings shame while humility brings wisdom. Which one will you choose to walk in today?

“Remove you’re way far from her, and do not go near the door of her house.” Proverbs 5:8. If someone seeks to lead you down and a moral path, understand that path leads to destruction. We are encouraged to run from temptation not run to it. Setting clear boundaries will serve as a safeguard for your life.

“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.” Proverbs 1:7. The word fear means “reverential awe for God.” As you walk with the Lord he will provide the knowledge you need. As you worship the Lord he will give you the wisdom you need. As you seek the Lord he will lead you in the direction you should go.

“You know my sitting down and my rising up; you understand my thoughts a far off.” Psalm 139:2. The Lord is aware of your circumstances. He understands what you were going through even when you don’t. He will not abandon you in your moment of need. He loves you far too much to ever let go.

“I will life up my eyes to the hills, from whence comes my help.” Psalm 121:1. When we encounter difficulty we have the tendency to look down, but the Lord wants us to look up. Someone said, “ when the outlook seems bad, try to up look.” Look to Jesus today and find the help you need.

“Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I keep your word.” Psalm 119:67. The Bible refers to us as sheep. As sheep we tend to wander off. Yet the Lord is so faithful that he seeks to correct us so that we would know that we are loved, and that we would stay on the right path.

“So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.” Psalm 90:12. Life is short. Today let’s not be wasters of time, but instead redeemers of time. Let’s leverage the opportunities we have been given by God and make the most of them.

“Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you?” Psalm 85:6. This morning you may realize that you need reviving. The Lord is willing and able to revive you. There is resurrection power available to awaken you. When you experience the reviving work of the Lord there is joy

“This I know because God is for me.” Psalm 56:9. This is such an important truth to be reminded of today. God is not against you. He is for you. He is in your corner and he is on your side. And if God before you then who can be against you?
