We quickly let our schedules and to-do lists fill up with so many responsibilities - which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it is if you're running on empty, experiencing burnout or resent the responsibilities in your life.

Intentionally planning life-giving activities is so essential in sustaining my energy and my joy so that I can serve those around me in the way I truly want to.

Recently I woke up and just felt off; I didn't feel like myself and was in one of those funks we're all familiar with. In this week's episode I talk about rhythms in my life that help me feel better and keep me grounded. My intention is that these rhythms will encourage you to brainstorm what you can implement that would serve you well OR remind you of what you need to re-implement that you know would make you feel better.

I had multiple topics in mind as I was planning to record this week, but I decided to pivot and talk about a passage of scripture that is wildly foundational for my faith and trust in Jesus. It's a verse that every time I speak it over my life, I'm reminded of God's goodness and faithfulness. 

This week I want to remind you - God is faithful. God loves you. And He's always working on your behalf. 

How do people feel after spending time with you? How does the space change, or how does the energy shift when you enter a room? Being intentional and thinking about how we impact the people around us based on the energy we're bringing into the room is powerful.

Whether we're seeing a friend for the 100th time or meeting someone new, our interactions matter. Each interaction will leave someone feeling something.

Are you in the middle of a challenging season? I've been there, and in this episode I talk about one season specifically where things were hard but I had a big realization and was faced with a choice - I could let the situation I was in turn me into someone I didn't want to be or I could choose to grow from it. Who you are becoming in the midst of any season is the most important part.

Today we're discussing limiting beliefs - "a belief about yourself that restricts you in some way." In other words, what are you telling yourself that's simply not true? Are you setting yourself up for defeat without even knowing it? Once you acknowledge the unhelpful narrations playing in your head and recognize how they're holding you back, you're then able to re-write the script and change your perspective.

Have you ever experienced social media fatigue? After spending time on social media do you feel better or worse? Do you feel like you're constantly being inundated with information about the world and other people's lives, all the while trying to process it but not become numb to it? It can be draining. Today I talk about why I've chosen to not be on social media and how I came to that decision.

This week's topic is one I'm really passionate about - your perspective on your own life and being intentional about what you look for. Do you believe there's good in every season? Is it hard for you to see the good? I get it, life can be hard, but I want to encourage you to see what's good in your life because that perspective can change everything. 

To my momma - the woman who's impacted my perspective on life the most, beyond grateful for you.  

Inspired by a sermon series I listened to 4 years ago from Levi Lusko, I dive into the question "who will you be in 5 years?" It's a shiny, somewhat glamorous question to ask, but answered honestly can give a lot of clarity on the direction you're headed and who you're on track to become 5 years from now.
