Walking Each Other Home episodes

  • Episode 1: Where did it all start?

In this first episode I would love to talk to you about the power of breath in our connection to ourselves and others

If you’ve been on this journey with me, you’ll remember the Lunar Wanderings which was my first attempt at this podcasting thing. If you're brand new here, hi, welcome! Honestly, part of me is still very raw around this idea of calling it a podcast. But March has been about breaking old habits and old thought patterns and cultivating new paths, both literal and metaphorical.
As you’ll hear from this episode, I’ve had some powerfully shifting experiences which have allowed me to really push my comfort zone and the discomfort I feel around community settings.
What I didn’t talk about in the episode was this experience of a very ticklish throat during my recent breathwork session. I learned that our throats can get very dry during these conscious breathwork sessions but what I experienced was not really dryness. Rather, it felt more like a block that wanted to be released. So, here I am releasing it.
I hope you’ll join me. I hope you’re able to take what resonates and leave the rest. I also hope to hear your reflections on what devotion to your Sacred Work means to you at the beginning of this journey, and what mind, body, and soul connections mean to you. What does that experience feel like to you? I'd love for you to head on over to my Substack and let's chat.

  • Episode 5: On Finding Your Purpose

    Hey lunar wanderer,

Welcome to November's episode of Lunar Wanderings. In this episode, I will be talking about finding your purpose and what astrology has to do with it all. I will also talk about the energies for this lunar cycle we now find ourselves in and how we can utilise the phases to root ourselves in the vision we have for our life and use it as an accountability tool.

I reference Richard Tarnas and his book Cosmos and Psyche.

I also mention Gary Zukev and his book The Seat of the Soul.

Here's the article from my teacher Britten LaRue that I also mentioned in the episode.

Here's Athen's video on True Sidereal Astrology.

The sign-up link for my Monthly Musings on Building a Slow Creative Life, as briefly mentioned in the episode, is here.

And finally, the monthly playlist for the wandering creative can be found here.

As always, thank you for tuning in.

    Til next time!

    Love,

    Silvia

  • Episode 4: The Magic of Weaving New Stories

    Hey fellow wanderer!

October's episode of Lunar Wanderings is the beginning of a new journey, and I'm excited to be welcoming you to walk this path with me.

I will be talking about things to come, things that have passed, and things that are. This episode is the doorway.

I will set us off on this journey accompanied by cosmic magic. I will be talking about reconnecting to our joys and passions and giving you a few practical tips on how you can rediscover what those are to you. I'm also sharing a few of mine.

I'm also touching on where I was a year ago and how this moment in time feels like a massive deja vu.

I'm talking about the power of journalling and the part it plays in my life and my journey.

And, as always, I'll finish the episode with upcoming lunar energies as they happen in the live sky.

Here's the essay on water that I mention, written by a dear friend.

And here's the book the juicy poem I finish the episode with is taken from by Heidi Rose Robbins.

  • Episode 3: Honouring our inner nudges

    Hey lunar wanderer!

A little while ago I came to you with my podcast and then...I had this deep desire to hibernate, to slow down and become invisible. At least in the digital world. It is a rhythm I am still adjusting and playing around with - this desire for solitude and stillness and at the same time, this deep desire to share what emerges from the quiet contemplations. It is something I talk more about in this episode.

I will also touch upon the story behind Knot So Wild, which is my brand name, and how it has naturally interwoven with my daily life and living according to and in alignment with my values and vision. This is all part of the death of the social media ego in me and I'll be sharing a few ways I've been able to embody surrendering to what is and paving a path that is truly mine.

And finally, I'll be talking about the upcoming lunar energies for September.

My mission is to also make these episodes as accessible as possible. On that note, here's the transcript in case you wish to read it instead.

Thank you for tuning in and allowing me into your life.

And if it feels right, feel free to sign up to my email list through this link so that you receive a notification when a new episode is available. Occasionally, I may send out some other bits and bobs but I will never overwhelm your inbox.

    Happy listening!

    Love,

    Silvia

  • Episode 2: "I feel grounded in the vision I have for my life."

It is incredible when we truly start to pay attention and notice what goes on not just within us but around us, we see the interconnectedness of everything, and we see our part in it all. We see everyone's part in it all.

With all that said, I am leaning even more into the feminine teachings of the Moon, and surrendering to the flow and allowing her to take me places I never thought I could go or was too afraid to enter. You see, I am certain now that this path I have chosen is truly mine. But it has taken a fair few cycles to get to this deep inner knowing and trust. This is something I'll be talking about in this episode.

    I'll also be talking about:

    1. First Quarter musings and the steps towards my vision of a slow creative life.
    2. How the journey to deep inner knowing happens in cycles.
    3. Paying attention to our own nudges and the external messages that are here to guide us.
    4. The energies of the Full Moon on 24 July 2021 occurred in between the constellations of Sagittarius and Capricorn.
    5. Happy listening!

Til next time, dear lunar wanderer.

    6. Episode 1: It's official! Lunar Wanderings is now a podcast.

"As I'm moving towards embodying what it means to live a slow creative life,

I'm letting go of the excess that has been taking up mental space."

The first official episode covers the First Quarter Moon of July 17 2021, or as I like to call it the Aligned Action phase.

      I'll be talking about:

      • Lessons from the Dark and New Moon phase.
      • A few tools I've been using for self-exploration lately.
      • Moving through some recent deep shifts and changing my approach to life.
      • The energetics of the First Quarter Moon on Saturday, 17 July 2021.
      • Plus a few journal prompts and mantras for your own soul exploration.
      • Happy listening!

        Til next time, lunar wanderer.
