Walking Free

Vernon shares part 3 of the critical elements to walk free in Christ. In this episode, Vernon looks at engaging our mind, heart, words, and our body to experience Christ in His fullness. Victory in Christ is not just some intellectual exercise, nor is it a purely emotional trip. God desires that we fully engage. The lie we often hear is that we are lacking something, or God is holding out, or we need to try some new idea to REALLY "get free". The truth is we have everything we need. Vernon will take us though a few verses in 2 Peter to highlight that truth.

This is a shortened version of what he shared with an incredible group from Argentina. Today on this episode he asks, "what do you see when you look in the mirror?"

Vernon and Kyle continue their discussion on freedom. The discussion begins with a conversation about some root issues regarding why we might not experience God's freedom. 

Vernon and Kyle talk through the question, "what is freedom?" and talk through a number of verses starting with Galatians 5:1. Of course, we always hear, "are you saying I can do whatever I want?" You may be surprised at the answer.

Vernon and Kyle talk through the ideas of guilt and shame. Kyle shares how false guilt and shame led him down a very dangerous path. Guilt does have a purpose, but what is it?

Vernon talks about the most important word in the New Testament. Faith. Why is it so important? Because "without faith it is impossible to please God". He also highlights the misunderstanding around James 2.
