In this episode I take a close look at what have commonly become referred to as \"glitches in the matrix\" after that famous Matrix movie starring Keanu Reeves. These are experiences that have left people scratching their heads and wondering what just happened to them. With no logical explanation that can be found for it. 

I take a very brief excursion into the world of holograms, and the holographic universe theory. Of quantum physics and the brightest brains in these areas in the world, who suggest that this world is, in fact, a holographic reality. I look at the Mandela Effect and how living in a holographic reality that has parallel dimensions could possibly explain this. And I  have experiences that people like you have had, that they simply cannot explain.

As Elon Musk says: “There is a ONE in a billion chance that we might NOT be living in a simulation.”

Old buildings, deserted for many years. Or relatively new buildings, both homes and businesses, or medical institutions and even land, have been known to have ghostly inhabitants. Inhabitants that can scare and disturb the people who currently live, or work in these places. Because of this, there are a rare group of people who make it their mission to seek out such places, such haunted locations. There can be many reasons for this. 

My  guest tonight James Gilberd., is one such person. I have been following James\' Paranormal Investigation group (Spooked: New Zealand Strange Occurrences Society) and page for some time, partly because of professional courtesy, as I also run my own paranormal investigation group, called Shadowlands Paranormal Investigations. And, simply because I like and really appreciate his approach to this work and his dry sense of humour. 

James talks about his experiences as a paranormal investigator and about the book he co-authored with Dr. Jo Davy, about his groups experiences.

Gary Cook discusses his own personal experiences with the Patupaiarehe and shares some very interesting encounters that people have either discussed with him or sent into him via his website.

Supernatural beings are a part of all cultures world wide. There are not many, if any, cultures in this world that don’t have a version of these inter-dimensional beings. They go by many names – dependent on where in the world they are found. But, there are not only one variety of these beings, there are many. Here are some names, a few of them go by. In Ireland and the British Isles, they are called the Fae, Fairies, Pixies, Leprechauns, the Seelie or Unseelie. . . . 

Here in New Zealand there are two basic types called the Patupaiarehe which are land based beings and the Pona-Turi which are sea based beings. But, dependent on where in New Zealand they are found, they go by different names. They are also called Patuparehe, Paiarehe and Parehe, Turehu, Korakorako, Tahurangi and Heketor. 

In this episode I will cover the history of New Zealand interaction with these beings and actual interactions people here have had with these folk. Both historical and recent.

In this episode I conclude the conversation with my guest Marc Morrell and his experiences with the Moehau Man. Then I’ll discuss briefly Anomalous Big Cat  (ABC) sightings in New Zealand. There have been very many of these – which continue to this day. Big cats are not native to New Zealand.

Actually, it was sightings reported in the New Zealand mainstream media in the past couple of months, of this huge cat,  that actually was the reason these New Zealand based cryptid episodes were created to begin with. Plus, I briefly discuss a couple of other lesser known, but documented New Zealand cryptids….

Throughout the world there are stories and legends of huge, hairy, ape-like creatures that have persisted over the centuries, through re-tellings of cultural myths and legends. Also ,of actual reported sightings of such creatures. These beings go by many different names. In North America, they are called Sasquatch, or the more common name of Bigfoot. Across the ditch in Australia, they are called the Yowie. In the Himalayas and parts of Asia they are called the Yeti, or the Meh Teh. So many different names for the same creature, or family of creatures.

New Zealand with our geographical isolation is not immune from such a being. We call ours the Moehau Man. He also has other names in New Zealand, dependent on the part of the country he is seen in. Names such as Maero, Matau, Tuuhourangi, Taongina, and Rapuwai. In this episode I explore the myths of this creature. Hear actual reported sightings, and finally I interview a guest Marc Copell who is has had actually experiences with these creatures and is now in the process of creating a documentary about them.

Every country in the world. Every culture in the world, has their stories of unexplained monsters. Monsters that can be very dangerous to humans, malevolent, nasty. Also of others who are more benevolent, even protective of groups of people they see as under their care. But are these stories merely myths and legends? Or do they in fact, have a basis in reality?

In this episode we explore a very well known New Zealand monster, called the Taniwha. Even New Zealand children can tell you stories about the Taniwha that inhabit our oceans, our waterways. That dwell in caves high in the back country mountains. We hear people\'s actual experiences with these beings, historical and recent.... Including one my own mother had as a teenager with a group of friends in the mighty Waikato river.
