Today is a special episode with one of my good friends Maliek Lynch prior to the release of his new album, 'Insin'. I've seen him transform from not wanting to leave the house to record music to consistently making projects, singles, more photoshoots, and just wholly embracing the art. I'm today's episode the message I want to drive home for us all is loving your journey! It's truly difficult. But if you can get into a place where your voice is the dominant one, if you lean into the things that you care about, beautiful things will start to happen in your life

The more that you can show a customer you care, the more you'll will in the long term. Today after delivering some photos in the rain, I reflected on how a company like Amazon is one of the most valuable companies in the world. It's because of their obsession with the customer. I think that all of us should like that to the best of our abilities and this will yield so much results for us. It takes practice, it's hard, but trust me when I say, it works if you're playing for the long term.

Coming to New York from Jamaica in 2012 was perhaps the opportunity of a lifetime for me. What that meant for me and my family was an opportunity to come into one of the greatest countries in the world to have a chance at a better life. And for that reason, I can never complain. I'm sharing this message with you today because we need to put life into perspective because 2019 is truly one of the greatest times to be alive and we will look back at 2019 and understand that truly there's never been a time like this.

People will cheer for you when you've made significant progress, sometimes even your friends and family.

My question is do you believe in yourself and are you willing to sweat, lose sleep, get torn down by people and persevere through clouded judgement?

If you are, start posting more because my life is changing right before my eyes in a way that I could have never dreamed of a few years ago.

The internet is changing lives, it has democratized the idea of celebrity and now all of us can play. That is truly remarkable and I hope that someone can see what's going on, please.

Voice is going to rock our worlds just like the iPhone did when I was 10 years old. I couldn't wrap my head around the infrastructure that the iPhone setup for the world that we live in now. But now that I've synthesized what it has done, I'm never missing the pattern again. I believe we need to start playing around with the new space because the convenience it's going to provide is going to knock out the players who are mere commodities.

We're all going to still be pretty young in spirit 5 years from now. I believe contextual to your life circumstances, you have a lot of time to figure it out. There's truly only the right move for you because there's so many variables that take place in planning out your life. If I would have known that 5 years into my business journey that I'd still be feeling like I just started, I'd have told everyone around me that everything will be just fine.

When you have a brand (reputation), you can do whatever you like. Some people need to focus on one thing, some need three. I believe that you know yourself better than anyone else so whatever advice that you receive has to be contextual to you. We all give advice based on what we would do any that's something to be truly mindful of. The world is yours.
