At different stages in our lives the word "party" has meant different things from a bounce house when we were young to a gathering of old friends as we get older. We may not think of our relationship with Jesus as an invitation to a party but the book of Matthew explains how that's is exactly what it is.

God has blessed us so we can bless​ people where we live, work, and play through prayer, listening, eating, serving, and telling the story of Jesus. Serving requires a change in our mindset where we place the needs of others above our own.

Words matter. They provide us the means to share our experiences and connect with our neighbors. Words matter to God and so does connecting with those around us. In order to connect to God and with others we must start by listening intently to God and those around us.

When completing a task, we need the right tool and the right person. What if the church lived out its purpose and really was the hands and feet of Jesus? We need to make sure we have the right tools. How do we get started?

The famous bank robber, Jesse James, lived with a mindset of what’s yours is mine. Jesus turns this mindset upside down using the story of a man who is robbed and the unexpected responses of passing bystanders.

Repurposing is just giving new purpose to something. When we accept Christ, He gives us a new purpose in our lives.
